As the old Nordic mythology tells us: The goddess Gefion was looking for new land and the Swedish king promised her all the land she could plough up in one day and one night. So she turned her four sons in to oxen to put in front of her plough. And she ploughed up so much land that she could make the Danish island of Zealand. The missing land can this very day be seen as the great Swedish lakes. This picture is not the fountain that tourists normally see near the royal castle and the little mermaid. But a smaller one situated at a hospital in the northwest Copenhagen. Photo by me, and manipulation in Paint.NET.
