I have for a long time had this thought of trying to recreate some normal photos like drawings. Well. I saw this old picture of Marilyn Monroe, and tried my luck on that. After making a rough sketch of the body, I put Marge’s head on it. After some experimenting I figured it was not very much Simpsons. So I put Homer in there. To have some funny guy there.
There was a loot of thing I had to change, but it was quite fun. I wanted to put in more and more details, but then it would not bee very cartoonis.
So here it is. All done in Paint.NET.

I think this is so hilarious! Homer just steals the show. I'm also amazed at how much detail you've managed to create using paint.NET. You must've speant hours experimenting with it to get effects like the wind from the grate and the detail on Homer's doughnut. Very well done.

Yeah, Homer is the one that really makes this picture work. And, yes, I did spend a loot of time making those effects in Paint.NET. But once you’ve figured it out, it rally isn’t that hard.
