Marge at the beach by leif-j Marge at the beach by leif-j
OK, I am uploading two versions of the same drawing, just for the hell of it. I used a loot of time experimenting, and figured it would be interesting to see what people think.
It started with me doing a bit of the newest promo image. But it was kind of tame. So I tried to put something more interesting together. As a new thing I tried to put two kind of shading in, together with some highlight.
And for one drawing I used powerful and vitiating blur together with deferent line colors.
Please enjoy and comment.

The textures are great in this. The softness is very appealing.

I prefer this version over the other. Maybe it's due to the quality compared to be glossy?

En av dine beste fargejobber. Den lyseblå og hvite himmelen er en fin kontrast til Marges sterke farger

Jeg er glad for at du kan lide farverne. Jeg prøvede nemlig flere forskellige før jeg besluttede at bruge disse her.

Lovely union of colours. I also like the shading and that it doesn't have a lineart shown.

Thanks. I think it is interesting to remove part of, or all, the lineart sometimes.
And i am glad you like the colors. I tried several deferent combinations.

:D I found it odd to see Marge eating strawberries with Flanders...in his pyjamas! Anyway, I like the way the colours blend together. Good to see some different drawing styles every now and then.

That pyjamas had me puzzled also. :?
The color blend was a bit of an experiment. But, yes. I would like to use some variations in my style now and then.
Thanks for the fave.
